Wow head gasket went on my Corsa D 2009. Losing water, overheating and loss of power. Quotes £750 - £1200. Reviewed Steel seal and thought it was my only option. Decided to change my oil, flushed the radiator of all antifreeze. Half filled my radiator then added Steel seal then topped up with water. Started the car and waited 30 minutes. Waited till the next day and decided to try it. Oh my God. Took it a short journey. Got my power back and heating pumping beautiful hot air. Three days have gone and car starts first time and drives like a dream. Thank you Steel seal. My only options were paying £750 - £1500 or scrap the car. Now I have my car running like a dream. Thank you Steel Seal. I would recommend it to anyone. Don't think about it, get Steel seal and extend the life of your car. I am now happily back on the road.

As an owner of a workshop I have been against these type of products for years. I was wrong. My head gasket went leaking coolant to the combustion chamber while I was 200 miles from home. It was consuming about a litre of coolant every 10 minutes on idle. I followed the instructions and by the time the 30 minutes was over coolant was staying on the correct level and I was so impressed it’s been weeks and I still haven’t changed the head gasket. I will confirm these will fix what I would say is a bad head gasket failure. Perfect product. I would recommend to anyone.

I don’t normally write reviews but I have a Jaguar XF 3.0 my 2010 ,head gasket has gone £2000-£3000 to fix I was going to scrap car thought I’d give the steel seal a go nothing to lose except a nearly £80 for 2 bottles of steel seal because mines a 3 ltr I was very sceptical I followed instructions perfectly if you have pink or red antifreeze drain it out because it will not work put plain tap water in for stuff to work anyway followed instructions once you warmed engine up for about half switch off leave it to cool down over night for stuff to work can’t believe the steel seal has actually worked no more clouds of white smoke water not bubbling over pressure bottle heating red hot again as it should be just had problems getting air locks out but all back to normal I’m over the moon like I said I was very sceptical as I’ve worked with cars all my life but follow instructions to the letter don’t just pour it in flush your system first especially if you have long life antifreeze in usually pink because it won’t work once steel seal has done its job just drain and put your antifreeze in as normal thank you steel seal well worth the money

My son's car was pressurising the radiator. A chemical test confirmed exhaust gas in coolant. First off you need to drain coolant system of all modern antifreeze. Flush a couple more times with clean water to ensure cleared. Then add Steel Seal and I let it run around circa 2000rpm (piece of wood on accelerator) for good 30 mins as per instructions. Then let it cool completely overnight. As temperatures were above freezing I left the Steal Seal in just with just water, no antifreeze , for a further 5-6 days and he drove car as normal. I then drained system and refilled with G12 antifreeze. That was a month ago, not had an issue since. You can't just add to header tank though, you MUST flush system of all modern antifreeze. After it's cured overnight (or longer) you can then drain and revert to G12 coolant. Once the Steel Seal has set its ok with organic antifreeze, just not compatible when its still liquid. Worked for me.
