MG ZT190 2004
Rad went on my 190 overheated on M4 and blew head gasket. Local garage replaced rad and recommend trying steel seal as the engine has 2 heads and quoted 2k for specialist repair. Steel seal appeared to have worked but took her for a run and started overheating waiting in roadwork traffic.
Turned the engine off and took car home with cooling fan constantly on. Gutted. Left it for a week whilst I looked for a replacement engine. Saturday and pouring, chanced it to supermarket a mile away, car was fine. Built runs up and still fine. Went for 70 mile costal drive n not lost a drop of coolant. Been fine ever since. If steel seal doesn't work immediately try leavimg the car for a week without stopping up, glad I did.
