Bubbling in header tank and coolant loss

Renault Kangoo 1.9 D65 2001
I had the option of scrapping my van, selling it as spare/repairs or paying hundreds for head skim and head gasket replacement, then I looked at reviews on the web, of different "repair" additives, and SteelSeal seemed to get good reviews so I bought a bottle, followed the instructions accurately and within 20 minutes of adding the magic green potion, the bubbling in the header tank had virtually
stopped. I let the engine tick over for an hour, turned it off and later drove the van as normal, having to only top up the anti-freeze once - about half a pint or so. That was months ago, and it still hasn't lost anymore coolant! No more bubbling and over-heating. Yes it does look like lime squash from the 1970s, but it does work. Great product - I totally recommend it.
